👮 National Night Out (All Ages)

Description

Every year, the Castle Rock Police Department joins this national event in a continued effort to connect with the community in a positive way. The event includes a K-9 demonstration, a chance to learn about the various police divisions like SWAT and investigations, tours of police and fire vehicles, and free hot dogs and hamburgers. 

National Night Out is a nationwide effort by the National Association of Town Watch, a nonprofit organization dedicated to crime-prevention programs like neighborhood watch. The events are an effort to promote involvement in crime-prevention activities. 

The event is hosted annually on the first Tuesday in August.
