Description
Meet at the picnic shelter for an introduction into night vision in animals and humans, then climb a gentle slope to experience the rising moon (7:48 PM). The sun sets at 8:30 PM, so you’ll be descending in twilight and by the light of the full moon, using only our human night vision. Flashlights are for emergencies only, please.
Each summer, RidgeGate teams up with the South Suburban Parks and Recreation District to provide free guided nature hikes led by professional naturalists throughout RidgeGate’s expansive bluffs trail system.
