Description
Geology is fun! Learn from resident geologists and volunteers. Take an easy 2.2-mile hike with a geologist and discover what makes Roxborough a geologic wonder. Don't forget to check out the paleontology exhibit inside the visitor center.
All vehicles need a paid vehicle day pass ($10) or annual pass to enter the park. Please plan on coming early on the weekends. The park usually reaches capacity around 9:00 AM and there could be up to a 45-minute wait. Please leave your pets and bikes at home; they are not permitted in the park.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to COVID-19, Roxborough State Park has precautions in place. Group size is limited to 10. Masks are required for unvaccinated participants. Please respect all participants appropriately.
