Description
Celebrate snakes this September!
Snakes are often misunderstood yet are highly valuable creatures within our local ecosystems. Naturalist Mike Dempsey from Serpentations will introduce some of the more common snake species around the Front Range, including a couple of live animal guests.
Families will have the opportunity to go on a photo snake scavenger hunt in the Audubon Center gardens to learn about some of the many beautiful (but rarely seen) species of snake located at Chatfield State Park.
