Description
The City of Lone Tree is joining 59 other communities across America in participating in the 1st Annual 9/11 Flag of Honor Across America Memorial. This ceremonial event will honor 50 of the 2,983 women, men, and children who lost their lives on September 11th, 2001. High school student volunteers from the community will read the names and their biographies while a flag is raised.
This will be the largest nationally coordinated 9/11 Day Project in America in special remembrance of the 20th anniversary of that tragic day on September 11th, 2001. The event is lead by Global Youth Justice, Inc. and is sponsored by AmeriCorps National Day of Service, and Global Youth Justice, Inc.
