About 45 minutes after sunset, guest astronomers will give a green laser pointer tour of the night sky, pointing out constellations and key stars and telling some family-safe star stories. Visitors are welcome to bring their own instruments or wander among the different telescopes.
Guest astronomers from CSASTRO will point out key planets, nebulas, satellites, meteors, and other unusual sites. In addition, visitors will learn about night eye adaptation and light pollution's detrimental effects on astronomy, wildlife, and humans.
