Description
The DAM's Sensory Friendly Morning is a program for kids with neurodiversity or sensory processing disorders to visit the museum with their families in a safe and fun way.
Visitors can explore engaging exhibitions, “meet and make” with local artists, participate in artmaking and therapeutic activities, and more, all in a safe and sensory-friendly environment.
The Museum has added a number of exciting elements to Sensory-Friendly this year, including an additional hour, expanding to include both the Hamilton and Martin buildings, designated “sensory sanctuaries” in the activity zones, improved sensory aids (special thanks to Autism Community Store), and more.
