New to birding? Kick off spring with an outdoor introduction to basic field ID techniques, including field marks, flight patterns, silhouettes, and birding by ear at the Lois Webster Amphitheater behind the Audubon Nature Center at Chatfield.
Then test your new skills on an hour-long birding hike around the Denver Audubon Nature Center. The hike is moderate but could be difficult for some strollers and younger children.
