Join Mark and Maggie O’Connor and the internationally-renown Vega String Quartet for an evening of bluegrass and classical music woven into a tapestry of sounds unlike any other.
The Vega Quartet, the resident quartet of Emory University, will join forces with Mark and Maggie O’Connor to perform some of Beethoven’s works alongside the works of Mark O’Connor himself. The evening will be a celebration of classical and bluegrass music, ending with the Vega Quartet and the O’Connors performing Mark’s “Appalachia Waltz.”
