Join the Highlands Ranch Concert Band to “Celebrate Life!”
This special presentation will take time to musically remember the life of Michelle Walker, the concert band manager. It is also an opportunity for others who have experienced losing a loved one to musically remember their journey on earth.
The program will include a wide range of styles, from Percy Granger to the Music of Disneyland, along with the premiere of a new composition written in memory of Michelle.
The Highlands Ranch Concert Band started in 2001 and consists of a Concert Band of 70-80 musicians and a Jazz Band, Swing Shift, with 15-20 musicians. Its mission is to provide quality and enjoyable concerts through a variety of musical literature and collaborative performances in order to promote musical arts and a spirit of community for both adults and children in the South Metro area.
