Description
Embark on a musical cruise around the world as the Parker Symphony Orchestra celebrates 30 years of bringing music to Parker and beyond!
Begin in Russia and Germany with Wagner’s darkly beautiful “Overture to the Flying Dutchman” and Shostakovich’s “Festive Overture,” followed by a fun piece from even further beyond in Australia, “Jabiru Dreaming.” The excursion ends with Tchaikovsky’s familiar but spectacular “Symphony #5!” Your spirits will soar with this musical offering!
About the PSO: The Parker Symphony Orchestra is a volunteer community orchestra that performs at the PACE Center from October to May. Founded in 1994, the 2023-24 season is their 30th year together.
