Description
Each year, RidgeGate teams up with the South Suburban Parks and Recreation District to provide free, guided nature hikes throughout RidgeGate's expansive bluffs trail system.
Led by professional naturalists, these hikes provide insight and education into the natural ecosystems within RidgeGate's open space while offering a chance to get some fresh air and exercise. They are free to the public.
Nature Journaling: Hike up the Willow Creek Trail and pause along the way to practice nature journaling in a lively outdoor setting. Observe the beauty of the area while an experienced artist assists with illustration technique and practice. Artists of all levels of experience are welcome to join! If you can hold a pencil, you're an artist!
