Description
Bring a canoe, kayak, or stand-up paddleboard to explore everything Rueter-Hess Reservoir has to offer. Scheduled days start Memorial Day weekend and run through October, weather permitting.
Know Before You Go:
- Kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, and inflatable stand-up paddleboards are the only watercraft allowed. All watercraft will be inspected on-site for invasive species before entering the water.
- A limited number of stand-up paddleboards and kayaks can be rented through an on-site vendor and includes a life jacket.
- Life jackets are required for all and must be worn at all times.
- Parking is a 5-10-minute walk from the shoreline. Please be prepared to inflate your watercraft, at least partially, before getting to the water.
- Dogs are allowed in some areas, but not the water.
- No glass bottles or alcohol are allowed.
- Due to parking limitations, reservations are required.
