Douglas County Libraries
All the DCL Storytime fun you love from the comfort and safety of your home! Storytime at Douglas County Libraries emphasizes five simple activities — reading, talking, writing, singing, and playing — that help children learn the skills to be ready to read.

  • Monday-Friday at 10:30 AM (excluding holidays)
  • Tuesdays at 6:00 PM
  • Currently scheduled through July 2, 2021

Pines & Plains Libraries
Join Ms. Chelsea for stories and a song on the Pines & Plains Libraries Facebook page.

  • Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 10:00 AM
  • These will continue until there are in-person events
  • Tune in LIVE or watch on Facebook anytime

Barnes & Noble
Saturday morning fun, featuring a different picture book each week! Activity sheets are available at BN.com/Storytime.

  • Saturdays at 11:00 AM
  • Currently scheduled through May 22, 2021

IN-PERSON STORYTIMES

Douglas County Libraries
Storytime in the great outdoors! Ideal for Ages 0-5. Space is limited due to local health guidelines; please REGISTER each person attending. The grass may be wet — bring a blanket to sit on.

  • Mondays (excluding holidays): Rotating locations: 10:00–10:30 AM
    • Providence Park in Roxborough 
    • Roxborough Community Park in Roxborough
  • Tuesdays: 10:00–10:30 AM at the Lone Tree Library
  • Wednesdays: 9:30–10:00 AM at Discovery Park in Parker
  • Wednesdays: 10:30–11:00 AM at Civic Green Park in Highlands Ranch
  • Thursdays: 9:30–10:00 AM at Festival Park in Castle Rock
  • Fridays: 10:00–10:30 AM at Coyote Ridge Community Park in Castle Pines
