DID YOU KNOW? An hour of ice skating burns about as many calories as jogging but is lower impact and way more fun. Whether you're looking for a fun family outing or a romantic date night, ice skating is a great winter activity and a memorable holiday tradition.

Following is a list of ice rinks, both indoor and outdoor, that we've found in the Denver Metro area. Outdoor rinks can have a pretty short skating season, so be sure to visit the website to confirm dates and hours.

PLEASE NOTE: Open/closing dates and hours are subject to change due to weather and/or management's discretion. We encourage you to call each location before heading over to ensure that the rink is open.

Outdoor Rinks

ARVADA: The Olde Town Square Skating Rink

  • Child (10 and younger): $5 | Adult: $8
  • November 27, 202 through early January 2021
  • Reservations are limited to one-hour time slots

AURORA: The Pond at Southlands

  • Admission with Skate Rental included: $12
  • November 13, 2020 through February  28, 2021
  • Tickets must be purchased online; masks must be worn at all times

CASTLE ROCK: Rink at the Rock

  • Child: $8 | Adult: $10
  • Skate Rental: $4
  • November 21, 2020 through February 15, 2021

PARKER: Ice Trail at Discovery Park

  • Child: $6 | Adult: $8 | Family 4-Pack: $30
  • Skate Rental: $4
  • Scheduled to open November 27, 2020; reservations required

  • Weekend Public Skate by reservation only; masks are required at all times and spectators are not permitted

CENTENNIAL: South Suburban Ice Arena

  • District: $6-$6.50 | Non-District: $8-$8.50
  • Skate Rental: $2.50-$3.50
  • Public skate sessions dates and times vary; masks are required at all times and spectators are not permitted
  • The new South Suburban Sports Complex opens January 2021

LITTLETON: Edge Ice Arena

  • Child (Walking-Age 5): $3 | Youth (Ages 6-17): $5 | Adult: $7
