Arapahoe County Fairgrounds (Aurora)

Treat Street

Wear your favorite costume for free admission and head down to Treat Street for a safe day of trick-or-treating and spooktacular family fun. Enjoy games and activities, a petting farm, live entertainment, a "Thriller" dance performance, costume contest, pumpkin painting, food trucks, and more!

Bear Creek Lake Park (Lakewood)

Haunted Trail Adventure

Experience all the ghoulish magic in an evening of haunted trails and ghostly tales. Walk along the Owl Trail and discover the critters of the night, play carnival games, and enjoy tasty treats. After your adventure, warm your toes by the fire at the amphitheater, roast marshmallows, and sip hot chocolate.

In place of Trick or Treat Street, come to the week-long Fall Fun Festival for fabulously fun fall activities for your little ghouls and goblins to enjoy! Dress to impress in your favorite costume and take a ride on the boo-choo train, enjoy fang-tastic bites from The Teaching Kitchen, try your hand at carnival games, make boo-tiful crafts, and much more. Colorado Railroad Museum (Golden)

Catch a ride behind a historic Denver & Rio Grande Steam Locomotive in vintage passenger cars hosted by conductors and engineers in full costume. Visit all of the special stops to fill your treat bags, including the “not so spooky” Haunted Railcar and the Olde Railroaders Silly Graveyard. Enjoy local vendors, live music, and photo opps. Appropriate for all ages.

The main event is the scarecrow contest judging through Olde Town, but make sure to check out the cone maze (FREE entry with food donation), DJ, kids parades, kids crafts, activities at the Flour Mill, and giant vegetable contest. On this 30-minute spine-tingling family adventure, professional storytellers narrate an amusing tale while you rumble down a spooky trail inhabited by Indians and six-gun carrying cowboys. Children must be accompanied by an adult; it is recommended for young children to go on the earlier rides. A portion of the proceeds benefits Douglas County Cowboy 4-H.
